New office in Silicon Valley

Well, here we are. As we’d like to have more than a glance into american culture, we decided to open a new office in Silicon Valley. It’s not only a matter of market, even if it being on site will help us to understand it better and keep tighter contacts with our actual and future business partners. What we’d like to do in our new office is to improve Dixero on site, observing behaviours and listening to your needs. We want to understand deeply how you are using the service to create something closer to what you really want. It will probably lead us up to start introducing local talented people in the team. We have huge projects in mind.

The office is located in Plug and Play Tech Center, Sunnyvale, CA. Here’s a picture Luca took there.

Time needed to vocalize your feeds

By francesca at 16:15 in Dixero life tags with tags , , , ,

As you can see on our website, we’re integrating features based on your suggestions. What you noticed more is the amount of time needed to generate new channels: as you may imagine this initial phase stresses the technical architecture the most, but the situation will get better and better as we receive new requests, because the system doesn’t have to re-vocalize every time the feeds that have already been processed. So we’re now checking the time needed to vocalize your feeds: it’s on average 15 minutes, but of course it strongly depends on the number of feeds you have in your channel. Also, many of you had problems generating channels containing feeds written in other languages than english: right now we’re vocalizing only english feeds (even if other languages will maybe be integrated… ;)

Ps: our videos are almost all online, if you want to see our faces you can visit our YouTube channel :)

With those types of features you could start having more fun and more time for you. Can you imagine it?  Well now Dixero makes it all possible! It’s a new and improved way to follow your feed…

Today is Dixero’s first day… but… what is it you ask? It’s a free and innovative Web-based tool which allows you to listen to your favorite RSS feeds directly online, on your computer as Podcast, or on your portable device, just like an iPod! Pretty cool huh? Try out our service; we made a podcast technology channel just for you.

It’s just the beginning so be the first to ask for an invitation for the alpha version!

With the Dixero tool also comes the debut of the Dixero Blog, which reports any news and events from Dixero insiders! Bookmark this site and follow us! Dixero is coming soon!
